Ancient Artefacts Category
Medieval Spur Rowel
A medieval spur rowel found by Steve Richards. The spur rowel is
dated circa 14th to 15th century and is made of copper alloy. It is in
a well preserved condition with five nicely defined spikes

 


Coins Pre-1649 Category
Edward II Penny
An Edward II, (1307-1327) long cross penny of the London mint
found by club member Kevin Higgs.


 

Coins Post 1649 Category
William III Sixpence
Found by club member Steve Richards, a first bust silver sixpence
of William III dated 1696. The obverse of the coin bears four
crowned cruciform shields. Early type harp with large crowns.
The outer edges of the coin are distinctly milled.


 

Finds Outside of Pembrokeshire Category
Short Cross Half Penny of King John
A King John 1199-1216 cut half found outside of Pembrokeshire
by club member Kevin Higgs.
