Medieval Spur Rowel
A medieval spur rowel found by Steve Richards.
The spur rowel is
dated circa 14th to 15th century and is made of copper alloy. It is in
a well preserved condition with five nicely defined spikes

An Edward II, (1307-1327) long cross penny
of the London mint
found by club member Kevin Higgs.

William III Sixpence
Found by club member Steve Richards, a
first bust silver sixpence
of William III dated 1696. The obverse of the coin bears four
crowned cruciform shields. Early type harp with large crowns.
The outer edges of the coin are distinctly milled.
